Gov. Mike Dunleavy announced three appointments Thursday to the Alaska Board of Fisheries and the Alaska Board of Game.
Olivia Henaayee Irwin of Nenana will join the Board of Fisheries. Irwin has served as co-chair of the Minto/Nenana Fish and Game Advisory Committee and works as a policy coordinator for the Yukon River Drainage Fisheries Association.
Allen Barrette of Fairbanks has been reappointed to the Board of Game. Barrette, a fur tanner and big game guide, previously served on the Fairbanks Fish and Game Advisory Committee.
Carri Ann Mueller of Palmer has also been appointed to the Board of Game. Mueller has volunteered as a Hunter Education and Becoming an Outdoor Woman instructor and is active in conservation groups focused on hunting, fishing and trapping.
The appointments are subject to legislative confirmation.
