UAF’s athletics year is usually over by mid-March. This year, however, 18 different Nanooks competed in a series of track meets throughout the month of April.

A potentially postseason-deciding contest took place between the Nanooks and Saint Martin’s University Saints on Thursday, as both teams aim to clinch the final spot in the GNAC Championships with two games remaining. The ensuing contest matched the stakes, as UAF picked up a 123-115 win in quadruple overtime.
The Nanooks took on Saint Martin’s University on Thursday to kick off their final two contests with a season-closing road trip. They fell by a score of 64-55 after a second quarter swing for the Saints made the difference.
