The Goldpanners wrapped up their second to last home series of the year with a 14-2 win over the Bercovich Honors, securing four wins in the five-game series and advancing to 20-9-2 on the year.

With the first two games being split between the Goldpanners and Bercovich Honors, both teams looked to find an advantage over games three and four on Friday and Saturday. The Goldpanners pulled away in convincing fashion in both contests to claim the series before the finale on Sunday.

The Alaska Goldpanners took the field looking to snap a three-game losing streak on Wednesday as they took on the Bercovich Honors in the first of a five-game series. They quickly jumped ahead in the opening frame before going on to win 13-6.
The three Gonzaga players on this summer’s team — pitchers Treyson Peters and Paxton Fenberg and third baseman Mikey Bell — are among the Goldpanners’ best.
