The tripod finally moved and stopped the official clock at 3:56 p.m. Sunday, April 27, in the Nenana Ice Classic. The tripod fell over on Saturday night about 7:30 p.m. but the clock kept running. Sunday’s stop of the clock is the official winning time that coincides with the ice going out on the Tanana River in Nenana. The names of winner or winners will be forthcoming.
