To the editor: Another tumultuous week has passed and the chaos continues unabated.
This administration is nothing more than a super bucket of dysfunction. We are watching an attempt to establish tyranny. The rights set forth in the Constitution continue to be assailed and diminished. The Supreme Court had to issue a stay at 1 a.m. in order to prevent additional deportations of migrants out of the United States without due process.
The status of national security continues to be cloaked in uncertainty. We have had no resolution of Signalgate or Gmailgate. These platforms were used to skirt the archive requirements of official documents. Is there any aspect of this administration in competent hands or operating within legal parameters? I know of none.
And those Republicans in Congress who have not stepped forward with courage are truly complicit, compliant, cowardly collaborators who will bear this shame as their legacy forever.
