To the editor: After over 55 years in the great state of Alaska, it’s about time we finally get to feel the pressure relief valve release.
As a kid growing up in Fairbanks, people had a kindness like no other. Nobody was a stranger; they were just a friend we hadn’t met yet. As time has gone on, the world has changed so drastically that you can barely trust a neighbor. It is sad to see. But now that America has finally elected someone with some common sense and compassion, I can feel the sigh of relief, and people’s attitudes are starting to readjust. Like in days gone by. The majority of Americans and Alaskans are happy to have President Donald Trump leading our country and Rep. Nick Begich beside him helping to make America great again.
