The Fairbanks Native Association (FNA) elected three board members during its annual membership meeting on March 7. Steve Ginnis and Teisha Simmons join incumbent Dr. Jessica Black, each serving a three-year term through 2028.

Ginnis previously led FNA as executive director for 15 years, while Simmons serves as interim dean of the College of Indigenous Studies at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Black is the associate vice chancellor of rural, community and Native education at UAF.
